- Print template (at left)
- Draw / color the comic panels
- Cut on the lines
- Staple pages together to make a book







Extension Activities:
- Go on a picnic.  Let your child(ren) help prepare the food or gather the supplies.
- Practice color recognition by asking your child to name foods that are certain colors (i.e. - yellow = bananas).

Craft: Fall Tree
- Draw a tree trunk onto a piece of paper
- Cut orange, red, yellow, etc. construction paper into 1"x4" strips
- Color tree trunk, grass, and sky background
- Glue strips of paper into loops
- Glue loops onto paper as leaves





Extension Activities:
- Go on a nature walk or drive to look at the fall leaf colors.
- Collect fallen leaves and glue onto paper to make leaf pictures and collages.
- Discuss with your child how they know it is the season of fall.  What things do they see, feel, hear, etc.?

Craft: Fat Cat
- Print template onto heavy paper and cut out
- Color pieces of cat
- Glue head to top of oval (body)
- Glue tail to side of oval
- Glue paws to bottom of oval



Extension Activities:
- There's a Bear on My Chair uses a lot of rhymes to tell its story.  Do some rhyming practice.  Ask your child for rhyming words for "cat", "couch", "mouse", etc.
- Play a game of musical chairs.
