Craft: Pig Windsock
- Color template of pig's head before cutting it out. (Template at bottom of post.)
- Color a piece of paper for pig's body. Roll it into a cylinder and glue.
- Glue pig's head to top of cylinder.
- Cut four long strips of paper and color to make pig's legs. Accordian fold the strips and glue to bottom of the cylinder.
- Tape or hole punch/tie a piece of string to the top to turn into a windsock.
Extension Activities:
- Practice counting. Ask your child to count how many of each thing they eat at a meal. (i.e. chips, grapes, carrots, etc.)
- Ask your child to design the perfect sandwich. What all would they include on it? What would they refuse to put on a sandwich?
- Share a version of "The Three Little Pigs" with your child.
