Building Block Story Time -- Week 1: September 7, 2021

Outdoor Story Times are held weekly on Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am.  (Registration is required to attend.)  Online Story Times will be posted weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am.  (The video is available to watch for one week before a new one is uploaded.)

Craft: Pigeon's School Bus

- Print out template at left onto heavy paper or cardstock

- Cut out pigeon's head, School box, and bus

- Color pieces

- Glue school box to bus below windows

- Glue pigeon's head in the first window as either driver or passenger

Extension Activities:

- Does your child(ren) go to school?  If they do, ask them to describe a normal school.  What would they say in reaction to all of pigeon's fears?

- One Red Sock asks children to guess the color from the rhyming word on the previous page.  See if your child would be able to continue writing the book with more colors used for socks.
