Colors: August 16, 2022

Story Times are held weekly on Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am and Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm.  Online Story Times will be posted weekly on Tuesday mornings.  (The video is available to watch for one week before a new one is uploaded.)

Craft: Crayon

- Print out template on heavy paper or cardstock and cut out

- Color crayon your favorite color

- Cut out four black strips of paper

- Glue black strips onto crayon as shown at left (two at top and two at bottom)

- Glue on eyes

- Draw on face

Extension Activities:

- Practice color sorting by having your child sort a bag of M&Ms or Skittles by color.

- Go on a color scavenger hunt trying to find an object for each color of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple.

Craft: Christmas Hippo

- Print out template on heavy paper and cut out.

- Color pieces of hippo and Santa hat.

- Glue together as shown in picture.

Extension Activities:

- Bake and/or decorate holiday cookies together.  Share family stories and memories if it is an old family recipe.
