Craft: Fire Dalmatian
This week's craft was based on the picture at left. The children colored a piece of cardstock with dog's face before gluing it into a cylinder. They then colored and glued on floppy ears. The final step was to color and glue on a hat.
Literacy Extensions:
- Visit your local firehouse. Many will give tours to kids when they stop by as long as they are not too busy.
- Go over fire safety with your child. Discuss what to do if there is a fire in the house.
