Virtual Story Time: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss -- 3/2/21

Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss
Hooray for Diffendoofer Day by Dr. Seuss
I Can Read With My Eyes Shut by Dr. Seuss
My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss
Oh, the Thinks You Can Think by Dr. Seuss
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss
There's a Wocket in My Pocket by Dr. Seuss
Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories by Dr. Seuss


Craft: Thing 1 and Thing 2
- Print out template on heavy white paper and cut into two Things
- Cut two strips of blue paper -- 8-1/2" x 3"
- Color templates
- Glue a strip of blue paper to the top of each Thing
- Cut blue paper into a fringe just down to where it meets the white paper
- Glue into cylinders to make Things




Extension Activities:
- So many of Dr. Seuss's books uses rhymes.  Practice rhymes by going back and forth with your child to see how many words you can both think of that rhyme.  Feel free to use invented words like Dr. Seuss did.
- Use My Many Colored Days to talk about emotions.  Make pictures using the colors that match your feelings for the day.
