Craft: Peas in a Pod
This week's craft is based on the picture above. The kids colored three pea cutouts along with a paper plate cut into a pod shape before gluing them onto a half sheet of paper.
Literacy Extensions:
- See how many vegetables your kids know. When visiting the grocery store, ask your child to identify the various vegetables found in the produce section.
- Try growing some vegetables together. Start a small container garden with your favorite vegetable in the spring and see what you can grow.
Did you miss this week's story time? Want to get a couple of ideas to extend the story time throughout your week? This blog will give you the story time plans for the Jefferson County Library - Arnold Branch.
